Activity:
- Settuping 2D gamekit
- Going trough the tutorials
- Creating my own lvl in 2D gamekit
Invested hours(I'm counting only hours at home):
- Creating the lvl, trying things out: 1 h
Outcome:
- My level in WebGL version in 2D gamekit
Notes:
- After the tutorials I started to understand how to actually do something in the 2D gamekit, practicals helped a lot.
- I had many problems with Unity editor, mainly, sometimes the Unity editor just crashed without any error message, since Unity editor doesn't have autosave, every time I lost a lot of my work (later I started paranoidly saving the game every 10 s). Because of this I was slowed a lot with the development and going trough the tutorials, on the other hand I practised a lot, because I did everything 4 times...
- At home I finished my lvl, add new scene to transition to, build the WebGL version and posted everything on itch.io
- It's cool that the version on itch.io is simple, but mine lvl of the game
- I hope that the Unity editor problems are related just to this project, and in another one it will be ok
